A total of fifteen awards will be given to the winning filmmakers at the closing ceremony of the 2014 RE:IMAGE Film Festival. Films are awarded in the following categories:
Best Picture – Best overall execution of a film in terms of direction, storyline, aesthetics and technical quality, as well as a strong adherence to the RE:IMAGE mission criteria.
Mission Excellence – The film that best reflects the mission of RE:IMAGE; that best explores the glory of God and his creation, captures the perseverance for justice and truth, and upholds and defends the dignity of the human person.
Year of Faith Award (New for 2014) – The film that best captures the New Evangelization in the Year of Faith (2012-2013), instituted by Pope Benedict XVI.
Superstorm Sandy Outreach Award (New for 2014) – Hurricane Sandy devastated many of the shoreline areas in and around the Diocese of Trenton. This award would be presented to the film that best explores the recovery and resilience both physically and spiritually, in the aftermath of this powerful superstorm.
Viewers’ Choice – The film that most captivates the audience, to be voted on by the audience!
High School Competition (open to ages 13-18)

- Viewers’ Choice – RE:IMAGE Award and $100
College / Young Adult Competition (open to ages 19-29)
- Best Picture – RE:IMAGE Award and $500

General Competition (open to all ages)
- Best Picture – RE:IMAGE Award and $500
